But very few knows the WHOLE story. (I am not kidding here)

You see that little mirror and the the white comb? (Yes, that is supposed to be a comb) That is how they REALLY escaped. Try to look it up if you can. I can't post a link, because I read it from a book. I lost that book, but there is like ten diffrent virsons.

Here is a little fun fact. The old witch was really supposed to be a sterotype Jew. You know, back in the WWII? Really sick if you asked me.

And in one virson, Hansel and Gretel was the bad guys, displaying the horrors of greedy children.

Another fact about the tale: Hansel and Gretel was originally know as "Little Brother and Little Sister"
